SWIMMING POOL
What is the pool like?
The pool consists of a bean-shaped basin, a paddling pool, and waterslides. These three areas are heated throughout the season. And since 2020, the aquatic area has expanded with a swimming pool, specially reserved for adults. For your comfort, the area is equipped with parasols, shade sails, and sun loungers.
What are the opening dates and hours?
The dates correspond to the campsite’s opening, from April to All Saints’ Day. The pool is open from 10 AM to 8 PM. In July and August, a lifeguard is present at certain hours and provides aquagym sessions.
SURROUNDINGS
How far is the beach?
The beach has direct access.
Beach access is secured by an access badge during off-season and by a security guard in July and August.
Wearing a wristband is mandatory for this exit.
How far is the town center?
Les Saintes Maries de la Mer is 1,500m away.
You can get there on foot along the sea, or on foot or by bike via a double pedestrian and cycle path. Also, in July/August, a free shuttle service is offered from Monday to Friday.
Are there shops nearby?
At the campsite, you will find essential products in our grocery store, including bread and pastries. For dining, there is also the restaurant-bar. Of course, all shops (boutiques, restaurants, grocery store, supermarket) are available in the town center.
RENTALS
What household appliances are included in the rentals?
1 refrigerator, 1 dishwasher, 1 microwave oven, electric heating.
The premium mobile homes have a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a television, and air conditioning.
Are sheets or blankets included?
All our rentals (except woody tents) include sheets, mattress protectors, pillows with pillowcases, and one blanket per bed, as well as bath towels. Those who get cold easily may want to bring an extra blanket depending on the season.
Are sheets changed weekly?
Yes. Upon request at reception
Is cleaning done weekly?
No. Cleaning is your responsibility. An inventory is carried out on the day of your departure.

Can I rent cots and baby chairs?
Possibility to rent a baby kit (high chair, travel cot with mattress, bathtub) for €25.
Are there televisions in the rentals?
All rental units are equipped with a television.
Is there internet access?
Yes, there is free WIFI access, intended for reasonable use (checking your email and consulting the Sunêlia application). The connection is made with a password, which is given upon your arrival.
MISCELLANEOUS
Is there a laundry room?
Yes. There is a self-service laundry with a dryer.
Is there a security service?
A security team ensures campsite surveillance day and night during the summer holidays. Security guards are on site and conduct patrols to ensure compliance with internal regulations. The campsite entrance is secured with automatic barriers, and access is only granted to your vehicles via license plate recognition. Additionally, safes are available in the mobile homes and for rent at the reception.
Hygiene and cleanliness?
Regular checks are carried out on bathing waters, pool and sea, the SPA, as well as for drinking water.
Our sanitary facilities are cleaned by a qualified team following an appropriate procedure.
RESERVATIONS
How do I make a reservation?
You can book either:

- For rentals, the deposit is 30% (less than 7 nights) plus a €30 booking fee.
- For pitches, the deposit is 30% plus a €30 booking fee.
Can I choose my pitch or cottage number?
You can state your preference in the “”Remarks”” section at the end of the online booking process, for an additional €23 for cottage reservations. Where possible, the campsite will assign you the pitch most suited to your needs.
Can I book for less than a week?
All year round at the counter, you can choose the desired number of nights. In low season, reservations are for a minimum of 3 nights, and in high season, reservations are for a minimum of 1 night, subject to availability.
How is the tourist tax calculated?
The tourist tax is €0.86 per night per person aged 18 and over.
What payment methods are accepted?
Bank cards (except American Express), checks, holiday vouchers, cash, postal money orders, bank transfer.
For deposits, we accept bank cards (pre-authorization), checks, and cash.
When and how do I pay the balance of my stay?
The balance of your stay must be paid 30 days before your arrival, by credit card online, by bank transfer, directly through your bank by noting your booking number and name in the transaction comment, or finally, by sending a bank check or ANCV holiday vouchers by registered mail.
Can I modify a reservation?
Yes.
But under certain conditions and subject to our availability.

Can I cancel a reservation?
Yes, if you subscribe to the stay cancellation guarantee offered by our insurer: Gritchen Tolède et Associés sinistre – campez couvert – 27, rue Charles Durand – CS70139 – 18021 Bourges cedex. Provided that the clauses stipulated by the cancellation guarantee are respected. In case of delayed arrival or early departure, the full amount of the stay remains due.
What are the check-in and check-out times for a rental or pitch?
Rentals can be taken from 4 PM, and departures are at 10 AM after inventory. Pitches must be vacated by 12 PM (noon) at the latest.
Can I arrive outside reception opening hours?
Yes.
Until midnight, our caretaker will welcome you and give you the keys to your rental or your pitch number in exchange for an ID. You will then just need to present yourself at the reception the next morning to complete the remaining formalities.
Can I depart outside reception opening hours?
For departures before reception opens, it is possible:
For rentals, as an inventory is essential, we will retain your deposit in case we need to replace broken or lost items.
We will send it to you after the inventory if everything is in order.
LOCATIONS
Are water and l “electricity included?”
No.
If you want lelectricity, you will need to request it and bring an extension cord to connect to the electrical hook-up.
In case you forget, the reception can lend you a European adapter (subject to availability).
As the number of pitches with electrical hook-ups is limited, we advise you to book them well in advance.
Of course, the sanitary facilities and various water points at the campsite (except motorhome service points) are freely accessible.
Is there a possibility to drain wastewater?
Yes.
If you have a removable tank, you can empty it into the disposal points located outside the sanitary facilities.
Otherwise, a service point is available near the campsite entrance.
Are there seasonal pitches?
Yes.
Only for the period from April 15 to October 15 (6 months).
The package includes water and electricity hook-ups as well as access for wastewater drainage.
Ask for the package rate at the reception.
In addition to the main vehicle, are scooters and motorcycles allowed?
Yes, but all registered vehicles are subject to a fee.
ANIMATION
What sports facilities are available at the campsite?
You will find at your disposal:
a multi-sports pitch, a heated aquatic area with pools and a waterslide, a boules court, a children’s playground, ping-pong tables, and an outdoor fitness area.
What entertainment is offered?
Entertainment is offered in July and August, including:
- The kids’ club is open Monday to Friday for children aged 6 and over.
- Sports activities: step, fitness, aquagym, cardio-dancing, pétanque tournament
- Games for the whole family: belly slide, Camargue’lanta, pool games, tchoukball, etc.
- Shows, dance parties, dinner concerts, and large musical games.
VISITORS
Can I have visitors?
Yes.
But under certain conditions. A visitor is someone who visits you occasionally but does not stay overnight at the campsite.
Visitors may be admitted to the campsite grounds under the responsibility of the campers hosting them, subject to a fee and deposit of an ID.Visitors do not have access to the pool.
In July and August, visitors must leave their vehicles outside the campsite.
ANIMALS
Are dogs allowed?
Dogs are allowed on a leash with the “”animal”” rate.
Category 2 dogs must also be muzzled, and we are obliged to refuse Category 1 dogs.
Only one dog will be allowed per accommodation.
Areas are reserved for pets’ needs. Dogs must be vaccinated (please bring their vaccination record).
DAMAGES AND LOSSES
Who is responsible for thefts or damages incurred within the campsite?
SEMIS (the company managing SUNELIA Le Clos du Rhône campsite) cannot under any circumstances be held responsible for camping equipment, vehicles, and various items brought in by campers, whether under their supervision or not.
